Founded in 1953 by Mohammed Khalilur Rahman, MKR Group began with a vision to anchor Bangladesh in global trade through maritime innovation. From building Chalna Port to developing Mongla Port, his work laid the foundations of an industry that powered a nation’s growth. Today, MKR has grown far beyond shipping into a diversified enterprise—driven by innovation, exploring new frontiers, and building global partnerships that shape the future of trade and industry.
